SWDC 23rd AGM

The time has come for our Clubs' 23rd Annual General Meeting.

The meeting will be held on Sunday 19th April 2026 at Wymeswold Memorial Hall, Clay Street, Wymeswold LE12 6TY.  

Nominations for Chairperson and vacant Committee positions, will be accepted upto 15th March.   Nominees must be of at least one years' membership, along with the Proposer and Seconder.  Voting will be conducted either by via a postal ballot or electronic means, to be verified by an independent scrutineer, as per our Rules and Regulations.

Location does not exclude any member from volunteering for committee, as meetings are conducted on-line.  Any questions about what it involves, please contact any of the current Committee members, who will be more than happy to assist.

We are also open to items for the AGM Agenda.  These should be received by the Honorary Secretary by Sunday 15 March 2026.

Any relevant documentation will be loaded onto the Club website in the members only section for AGM, once nominations close and a password will be sent via email separately.

We will also present the winners of the 2025 Annual Ambassador Show Awards.  These winners of  Best SWD, Best Brood Bitch, Best Stud Dog, Best Puppy, Best Special Beginner and Best Veteran, are given to Club Members' dogs, based on points scored during the year at Championship shows. 

We also recognise those members and their dogs who volunteer at Discover Dogs, Game Fairs and Breed Appreciation Days.

Nominations will also be opened for our Annual Ambassadors in the fields of scent work, working gundog, water work, companionship, rally, agility and obedience, but more to follow later.
