Comments Off on Resignation of Chairman

Dear Members

Your committee wish to inform you of the resignation of our Chairman Mr Anthony Allen which was duly accepted at our meeting, on January 12th 2019 held at Wymswold.

As Chairman, Anthony has represented us particularly around the Show Scene, both as a spokesmen and as a Judge. Anthony was persuaded by members of your committee to stay on another year after the success of our first Championship Show 2017. Laterally playing a leading role in our Judges education programme together with guiding the JSC through KC changes and overseeing the newly required BEC. (Breed Education Coordinator)

You will have read Anthony’s Chairmans reports in Newsplash, during his term in office and will have seen the extent of his contribution to our club, for which, we are grateful.

We will be looking to appoint a new Chair, after a members postal ballot, at our AGM on Saturday 23rd March 2019.

The official AGM notice will follow this announcement.

It remains for me to thank Anthony, on your behalf for his service to the SWDC and to wish him all success in the future.

Regards to all,

Pat Booth

Acting Chairperson
