Health Survey Results

Three years have passed since the last Health Survey. In 2017 the SWDC conducted it’s second health Survey. The Club would like to thank all those involved who made the survey a success, we received an entry of 511 dogs. This is a massive rise on 2014 from 274 entries.

Please find below the Report from the Health Survey and the Presentation give at the AMG March 2018.

Best wishes,

Health Coordinator

The health survey 2014 has now closed and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who promoted and responded to the survey. We had a large response over the time it was open with 287 individual dogs, which included 13 deceased dogs and 274 live dogs.

I am in the process of cleaning the data by ensuring that there are no duplicates and that it matches up. Once this is completed I will then start writing the report and I am aiming to get this completed by late April – but please do bear with me as I have a lot of data to go through and statistics to calculate. It will be a priority of mine to get it finished as I know a number of you will be interested to see the results.

Once the report is completed, I will aim to get it sent to each person who responded to the survey, as well as it being made for public viewing.

I am hoping that the next general health survey will be carried out in three years.
Thank you again to everyone who participated – it is such an extremely important topic and we must work together for the future of the breed.

If you have any further questions or feedback it would be greatly appreciated.
