Flyball is fun, frantic and very noisy!
Because the Spanish is so fast, as well as highly trainable, it is a breed ideally suited to a sport where speed and accuracy are of the essence.
Most Spanish are also very easy to focus on the ball.
Oops ... dropped that one !!! This is a team sport so you would need to join the local Flyball Club where you will receive help in how to train safely and then have the opportunity to become an active member. As with Agility, it is important that the dog is sufficiently developed so they must be twelve months of age being allowed to run in “Starters” competition. Ten months is probably a good age to commence training for this
Earlier training on recall, retrieving a tennis ball, going away from the handler and accepting strangers holding the collar can all be carried out at home before attending for actual Flyball training.
